Let that number sink in: nine thousand lives, nine thousand victims, nine thousand files marked closed<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is not a \u201creview.\u201d It is an admission of failure<\/strong> \u2014 a failure of duty, of courage, and of truth.
Every one of those cases represents a human being who was failed by a system that promised protection but delivered paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For years, questions about grooming gangs, organised abuse, and institutional blindness have been met with silence, deflection, and denial. Even London\u2019s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, has repeatedly sidestepped direct questions on this issue. That refusal to confront reality \u2014 to even say the words \u2014 has consequences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
