Riding Through Life\u2019s Big Questions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are moments on the bike, out on empty country lanes, when the noise falls away. No destination, no schedule, no one watching \u2014 just me, the hum of the machine, the bends of the road, the smell of hedgerows and damp tarmac. For those few minutes, something inside me lifts. It feels like freedom \u2014 freedom from the rules, the roles, the restrictions that press in every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in that lift, the big questions often surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Religion, in its many guises, tells us there is \u201csomething more.\u201d A God who demands worship, a life beyond this one, a destiny already mapped. But if such a being truly wanted praise, why not simply appear? Why remain hidden, leaving humanity divided into faiths, sects, and doubts? The silence feels less like mystery, more like absence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, the honest view is this: there is no proof of \u201csomething more.\u201d Life is likely an accident of evolution and circumstance. A fusion of chromosomes, a shift in climate, a spark of fire, a cascade of small changes that scaled up into us. A chain of accidents that could easily have gone another way. We live, we love, we build, we destroy \u2014 and in the end, we return to molecules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the cosmic scale, we are dust. Not central, not eternal. But here on Earth, in this blink of time, we are something special. Dust that can think, imagine, record, and reflect. Dust that can ride a country lane and wonder about its place in the universe. That thought humbles me, but it also sharpens how I see the value of the life we do<\/em> have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because the value isn\u2019t in some promised afterlife, nor in the approval of others. It\u2019s not in validation at all. It\u2019s in the present. The lived moment. The freedom to choose your road, to feel alive in it, and to wonder as you go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, it comes down to three words:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here. Free. Alive.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know most people avoid these thoughts. Some cling to dogma, others to distraction. When you press too deep, you often meet defensiveness, not dialogue. But maybe some out there \u2014 especially fellow riders \u2014 know the same lift I feel on quiet lanes. Maybe they too sense that meaning isn\u2019t handed down, it\u2019s found in the ride itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If this resonates, I\u2019d like to hear it. Perhaps there are more of us than we think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
