Hi All
Been a busy few months for me during July & August with bill paying work, developing my film skills and my newest life enhancement, I hope, training for and hopefully gaining in October by full UK motorcycle license.
I passed my CBT and Theory test and have booked my 4 days training for MOD 1(test 28th Sept) and MOD 2 (Test 19th Oct) and really hope I pass as I have made a deposit on my first bike namely the Honda ADV 350.
I am also getting back to adding posts here about my views on photography and motorcycles of which I hope you will join in the conversation by replying to my posts with your thoughts.
I have been take a back by the work of Anton Corbijn of who’s high contrast use of B&W film has pricked an interest in me.
My colour film work will continue to be as realistic as it can be but going forward my B&W work is going more towards the contrast levels used by Anton Corbijn .
I am making great progress in using only D23 as my go to B&W film developer for any B&W film stock and now with me leaning towards higher contrast, adding 20 to 40 % developing time on well metered subjects, and film I shoot is delivering the look from the negative and under the enlarger I am seeking.
That’s enough for now and I intend to add more posts as I go forward in my new High Contrast PhotoMoto future.
Hopefully you will join me for the ride.
Wishing you well
